Moving through time
Louis XIV moved the French court to Versailles while his armies bullied Holland and Spain. In England, the Popish Plot panic of 1678 sent innocent Catholics to the scaffold, and Bunyan published The Pilgrim's Progress the same year.
1678 produced both a panic and a pilgrim's book. Gérard Depardieu's Vatel serves three days of feasts at Chantilly in 1671, and Dumas's The Black Tulip schemes around a flower craze in the Holland of 1672. Open the 1670s on the StoryTerra map and explore its stories by place.
